Wow, November. Just wow.

I have been so incredibly busy, and November has gone by so unspeakably fast. It’ll be Thanksgiving next week. Next week! But yesterday (after I’d posted about my weekend, of course) I got some news that I’d feel remiss in not sharing. My very short story “Count Brass” will be appearing in Evileye Books’ journal/anthology The Burning Maiden, where it’ll have the company of folks like Christopher Golden, Tim Lebbon, and Matthew Pearl, among others.

This is especially noteworthy as I believe it technically marks my first sale for professional rates, a milestone that I kept nearly missing for one reason or another up until now. I’m pretty excited, and looking forward to seeing the book when it comes out sometime next year.
