This Saturday, I’ll be at the Longview Literary Festival in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. I attended last year, and had a surprisingly good time, though I did end up giving a reading to an empty room. I’m scheduled for another reading this year (at 12:30), so hopefully that won’t happen again. I’m also giving some kind of lecture or panel or Q&A or something about “Zombies, Demons, and Monsters,” (at 4 o’clock) which sounds right up my alley. Last year I was on a panel about the “Future of Horror Fiction,” a topic on which I am far less qualified to speak, and it turned out to be one of the better panels I’ve been on, so here’s to hoping for a good time this year as well.
